Bill Halter Kicks Off Around-the-Clock, 25-Hours-In-A-Day Statewide Campaign Drive Between Now and Senate Primary Election

North Little Rock -- Lieutenant Governor Bill Halter started his U.S. Senate campaign's statewide "Working for Arkansas" tour, beginning at 6:30 a.m. Monday morning at a paper mill in Ashdown (Little River County). It will end 25 hours later at his polling place in North Little Rock, where he will vote with his family. Scheduled stops in between include Texarkana, El Dorado, Little Rock, West Memphis, Jonesboro, Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Russellville and Conway.

Halter is travelling primarily by RV, the exception being a small plane flight from Jonesboro to Fayetteville on Monday evening. He will talk with voters everywhere about why a change is needed in Washington and how he will work for middle-class Arkansas families with an emphasis on job creation, educational opportunities, and protecting Social Security benefits.
