My staff, my family and I thank you for all you have done to support this remarkable campaign. In just 98 days, we succeeded in bringing the challenges of middle-class working families into the state and national spotlight. Although we fell just short at the ballot box, we can hold our heads high in knowing we fought a tough battle for the right principles and the right policies against tremendous odds.

I want to repeat what I told our staff, volunteers and supporters Tuesday night in Little Rock, because the same holds true for each one of you: "You have done an incredible job, an amazing job. You have fought an honorable, tough, highly motivated campaign in the state of Arkansas. ... I am humbled by what you have done. ... You should take that passion for advancing working men and women into the next race, and the next race and everything that you do."
